Blocked Memory, a live interactive AV performance was created during the Labo Immersif Residency hosted by Société des arts technologiques [SAT] & AADN - Arts et Cultures Numériques along with partners CULTVR - UK, Culture Lab Taiwan, chapelsoundart IM4lab AVXLab - Expanded Audiovisual Lab
The project stemmed with the theme of collective memory within the context of immigrants and their position in society/in a foreign land . Our aim was to figure a medium to shed light (figuratively and literally) on certain memories that are often suppressed or blocked out.
